start with magic ring
ROUND 1
ch 1, then 1 sc into the center of the magic ring, ch 2, then 1 sc in to the center of the magic ring.
then 1 hdc into the magic ring, then 3 dc into the center of the magic ring, ch 2, then slip stitch into the magic ring.

Crochet Hearts. Making crochet heart appliques is always fun to make any time of the year, especially for the month of February, which is the best time to make crochet hearts. I used the same pattern to make these hearts, The larger one, is the same pattern in the video tutorial above. Then the smaller red and pink heart were made using a 4 ply worsted weight acrylic yarn. The one on the right with the variegated yarn, I used comfy cotton yarn. I think this one is my favorite one I made so far. I want to turn it into a square and make several squares to make a cardigan sweater.

How to Crochet a Easy Small Shamrock

Crochet hook size: crochet hook size : H / 8 5.00 mm

Materials: 4 ply acrylic yarn

Start with a magic ring

ROUND 1

ch 2, then 3 tr into the center of the magic ring, ch 2, then sl st into center of magic ring *, repeat from * to * 2 more times.

You will now have 3 leaves for the shamrock, now to work the stem without fastening off, since all of the leaves and the stem are all worked in the same round.

chain 4, then skip the first ch closest to the hook and then do a hdc into the next ch, then sc into the next ch, then sl st into the next ch, then sl st into the center of the magic ring, then fasten off, pull the tail of the magic ring to close up the center of the magic ring and then weave in ends or leave ends to use to sew onto your crochet project.

In this tutorial I will show you how to crochet a skull applique. This skull applique is worked in one piece, without having to fasten off and reattach the yarn to work the upper or lower half of the skull. The video tutorial also includes instruction notes of how to make the crochet skull applique in the video to make it easier to follow along.
