Start with a magic ring

ROUND 1

with the first color orange or any color that you choose as your first color.

ch 3 (this ch 3 will count as a dc st), then 1 dc into the center of the magic ring , ch 1, * then 2 dc into the center of the magic ring, ch 1 *, then repeat from * to * 4 more times, then join with a sl st to the top of the ch 3 when you began the round. You should have 6 sets of 2 dc and 6 ch-1 spaces when you finish this round. Fasten off, since we will begin the next round with the second color and will be joining the second color with a sl knot into a ch-1 space in the next round. Then change to the second color for round 2. I used pink in the tutorial for the second color.

ROUND 2 (need help with round 2 skip ahead to timestamp 5:00 https://youtu.be/GJb38M0XYnw )

attach the the second color into any ch-1 space from the previous round with a slip knot, then chain 3 (this ch 3 will count as a dc), then 1 dc into the same ch-1 space where you just attached the yarn with the second color, then ch 1, then 2 dc right back into the same ch-1 space, * into the next ch-1 space, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc *, repeat from * to * 4 more times. When you finish this round, you should have 2 dc, a ch 1 and then 2 more dc into each ch-1 space. ( 6 sets of 2dc, ch 1, 2 dc).

ROUND 3

without turning work, sl st into the top of the next dc, then sl st into the

ch-1 sp, then ch 3 (this ch 3 will count as a dc), then 6 dc into the ch-1 sp, (the ch-1 sp in between the the sets of 2 dc from the previous round), * skip the next 4 sts (skipping the next 4 dc from the previous round), then 7 dc into the next ch-1 sp *, repeat from * to * 4 more times. Fasten off, since we will begin the next round with the third color and will be joining the third color with a sl knot..

Then change to the third color for round 4. I used green in the tutorial for the third color.

ROUND 4

attach the the third color into the top of any dc from the previous round with a slip knot, or your preferred method to change to the new color. Then sc into the first 7 stitches including the same stitch where you attached or changed to the third color. Then insert the crochet hook, into the ch-1 space from round 2 (not into the ch-1 sp from the previous round 3), then yo and pull up a loop and pull up this yo or stretch to elongate the stitch to bring up to the height of this round, since this is worked in the space from round 2 and not round 3 and then yo and complete the sc (refer to the video tutorial for help https://youtu.be/GJb38M0XYnw to see this as shown in the video, and skip ahead to timestamp 15:28 to view this part where I explain how to do the elongated stitch.

* Then 1 sc into the next 7 sts (this is in the top of the dc from the previous round) Then insert the crochet hook, into the ch-1 space from round 2 (not into the ch-1 sp from the previous round 3), then yo pull up a loop and pull up or stretch the yo to elongate the stitch to bring up to the height of this round, since this is worked in the space from round 2 and not round 3 and then yo and complete the sc *, repeat from * to * 4 more times.

Join with a sl st to the top of the first st that you did when you began the round.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

How to Crochet a Round Dish Scrubber with Tulle

ROUND 1

Crochet hook size: J / 10 6.00 mm

Material : tulle

Below I have included links to the same tulle that I purchased from Amazon to use to make the dish scrubby in this tutorial. Thank you for visiting my website and for your support. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

ch 5, join with a sl st to the first ch to form a circle, ch 1, then 12 sc into the center of the circle, then join with a sl st to the first sc when you began the round. When you finish this round, you should have 12 sc.

ROUND 2 (need help with round 2, click here to view the tutorial https://youtu.be/WLbT9t0h3a0 and skip ahead to the timestamp at 4.20 minutes

ch 1, then 1 hdc in to the same st that you just did the slip st to join when you finished row 1, then 1 hdc into each st for this round. Join with a sl st into the first st when you began this round. When you finish this round, you should have 12 hdc sts.

ROUND 3 (need help with round 3, click here to view the tutorial https://youtu.be/WLbT9t0h3a0 and skip ahead to the timestamp at 7.12 minutes

ch 3 (please note in the video I did say ch 2, correction: meant to say ch 3) (this ch 3 will count as the first dc), then 1 dc into the same st that you just did a sl st to join when you finished round 2, then 2 dc into the remaining sts for this round. Then join with a slip st to the top of the first dc when you began this round. You should have 24 dc sts when you finish this round (the first ch 3 when you began the round did count as the first dc of this round).

Join with a sl st to the top of the ch 3 that you did when you began the round.

Fasten off .

Repeat ROUND 1 through 3 one more time to make a second round.

When you finish this second round for the second half of the dish scrubby you will not want to fasten off yet, since you will do a round of slip sts to join the two rounds to make a double thick dish scrubby.

ROUND 4 to connect the two rounds together. (need help with round 4, click here to view the tutorial https://youtu.be/WLbT9t0h3a0 and skip ahead to the timestamp at 11:26 minutes

After you finish the second round, place the 2 rounds together with the wrong sides of the work facing in, and the right sides of the work facing out, then attach with a sl st to join and then do a sl st in each st around working the slip sts loosely. Then fasten off and weave in ends.
